Fern Cement Wellington

History

So you can get to know us better here is a little of our history

Fern Cement Limited was established in Wellington early in 1997 to offer an Independent Alternative to the concrete and allied industries who, up until then, have only had the choice of the 2 other distributors of cement, who are in the main, competitors to their clients, whilst Fern Cement is only in the import and distribution side of the industry and is therefore not a competitor to their clients.

In September of 2002 The Perry Group of Hamilton became a partner in Fern Cement which will add many benefits to Fern Cement, with all the skills and experience that the Perry team has to offer.

Fern Cement imports from Asia the highest quality Cements and Fly-Ash available to Fern and these products are rigorously tested before they leave the plants where they are manufactured and again in New Zealand by Opus Laboratories, an independent organization. Fern is the only cement supplier in New Zealand that has its products independently tested every time.

CEMENT

General Purpose Cement (GP) and High Early (H.E) which is bagged here in New Zealand into 40kg and 25kg bags, has been and will continue to exceed the performance requirements of the New Zealand Standard (NZS3122) by 40% on average.

Fern Cement has distribution depots in Auckland, Bay of Plenty, Hawkes Bay, Christchurch and Timaru and shortly Fern Cement will be establishing a depot in Dunedin. Cement and Fly-Ash is available from these depots in 2 tonne, 1.5 tonne, 40kg and 25kg bags and by bulk road tankers.

FLY-ASH

Fly-Ash (Type C) under the trade name of Super-Ash is now also available from all Fern Cement depots.

Super-Ash is marketed in 750kg Bulk bags, 20kg water soluble bags and by Bulk Tanker.

Fern Cement stands behind all their products 100% and will continue to do so.
